The women behind the ship. The ones who built this for you.
Ja'Nae Carter is a Black lesbian, world traveler, and the unapologetic force behind Sapphic Sail — the luxury cruise experience she built because the one she needed didn't exist.
With her passport stamped across the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia, Ja'Nae spent years navigating the world's most breathtaking destinations as a Black queer woman — learning early that luxury travel wasn't designed with her in mind. She moved through spaces that were beautiful but not built for her. She took notes every time.
Those notes became Sapphic Sail.
"I stopped waiting for the luxury travel industry to make space for us. I built the ship myself."
As a Fora Travel PRO Advisor and Gold Tier Virgin Voyages Specialist, Ja'Nae brings professional expertise and deep personal passion to every sailing. She doesn't just host Sapphic Sail — she books it, plans it, lives it, and shows up for every woman who comes aboard.
An official co-host of Sapphic Sail — and the birthday girl we're celebrating on the water this Pride.
Sunny Dae is an official co-host of Sapphic Sail, joining us for our Pride 2027 sailing — and we're throwing the whole thing around her birthday. She brings the energy, the warmth, and the kind of presence that turns a trip into a memory.
When Sunny shows up, her community shows up with her. She's all about bringing sapphic women of color together to celebrate loudly, freely, and proudly — which is exactly what Pride Month at sea is all about.
"We're celebrating my birthday in the middle of the Caribbean, surrounded by our people. Come be part of it."
We sail June 21–26, 2027 for Pride Month aboard the Valiant Lady. Come celebrate Sunny's birthday on the water.
Co-founder of Xxclusive Vibes. Co-host of The No Homo Show. ATL's most influential WLW event curator — and your host on the Most Lit Cruise.
Boss Britt (Brittany Hodge) is one of the most recognized names in WLW events. As the co-founder of Xxclusive Vibes, she has produced large-scale experiences for women who love women across the country — from Atlanta Black Pride Weekend to destination events like Cancun Pride.
As the co-host of The No Homo Show — one of the leading queer podcasts in our community across YouTube, TikTok, and Patreon — Boss Britt has built a deeply engaged following that shows up when she calls.
A three-time Virgin Voyages sailor, Boss Britt has been organically championing the Virgin Voyages experience long before this collaboration. She knows the ship, she knows her community, and she knows how to make a memory.
"This is more than a birthday. This is a whole experience — and I want my people there."
Her birthday is January 24th. We sail January 28th. Come celebrate with her on the Most Lit Cruise.
Two requirements. Both non-negotiable. Both in place to protect the experience for everyone on board.
Sapphic Sail is a WLW-centered, adults-only experience. We enforce a strict 21 age minimum to protect the energy, safety, and comfort of everyone on board.
Your Sapphic Sail booking is what places you on the official Sapphic Sail manifest and unlocks your wristband — your all-access pass to every exclusive event.
All guests must have a valid passport to board. This is non-negotiable — no passport means no boarding, regardless of your booking status.
We put together a quick FAQ that covers everything — booking, requirements, whats included, and more. Want to talk it through? JaNae is happy to jump on a call with you.
Early booking access, exclusive updates, and community news — straight to your inbox. Be first. Always.
